Hello, dear Secret Santa! Yes, I have seen the Sapphire movie! And because I feel like it, I will also answer for movie 3 as well!

4. What was the weirdest part?

(M23) Well, let me think... it was the scene of the blond lady stumbling while leaving blood trailing behind. I mean, she was like that for like 5 minutes and nobody saw the blood drops? That’s weird. Also, how the heck had the knife not fallen off the disguised woman? 😶

(M3) I can’t think of anything, because the movie is great! Um... The monocle Kid had that broke in half when the murderer shot him in one scene, but when Conan sees it in the next one only the glass was shattered. That’s weird, perhaps it’s a mistake on the animators side, or Kid switched it? I have no idea... Does that count? 😅 Oh, almost forgot! I found it weird when Conan got surprised at the phrase translation which acted as a password for the underground. He should have known English, so why was he surprised when it got translated from English into Japanese? 🤔

4. Your favourite stunt?

(M23) I love all of Kid stunts! Especially in the water where Kid shoots at the pillar many times! And also the fights between him and Makoto! But let’s not forget Makoto’s fights with the mean men at the restaurant, and with the bodyguard while protecting Sonoko, that was so cool! 🤩 With Conan, I love the scene where Conan jumped down onto the chair which threw the gun into the pool!

(M3) Lessee... I don’t know if this counts as a stunt but I found it cool when Conan dared the culprit into shooting his right eye which then bounced off of the hardened glasses 👓. But kids, please don’t ever copy dangerous stunts from Conan, EVER! 👀 The second favourite is when Conan slided down from the warehouse to Heiji in seconds using just a rope.

iiiiiit's your secret santa again! do you read detective conan fics? if so, what are your favorites?

Hello again, dear secret santa! Why yes, I do! In fact, I read dcmk fics a few times a month! My favourites? Well, that’s hard to pick, because I’ve read so many and I love most of them! But being the idiot I am, I don’t keep track of them 😭. Hmm, let me see...

I would pick this one as one of my favourites because it’s the one that got me started on reading more fanfics: Dream... Or Not by @akai-no-tsuki. It was also what made me love and seek more SI fanfics.

If not that one then these: Going Down because it isn’t only focused on Shinichi/Conan but on Kogoro and others (I mean, I love Shinichi but there aren’t that many fics focusing on those around him), and also because a deaf character is involved (just one chapter) and also being useful to the police, which I love! Also Victim: Kudou Shinichi because angst.

One-shots: Playing the Fool and The Ally You Never Had because damn it, after having been put to sleep by darts for god-knows-how-many times, Kogoro would have figured out the oddity (and also being immune to the darts) by now but nooooo, Aoyama had to make Kogoro remain that dumbass detective no one can rely on except the very few times it actually counted! *sighhh*

But enough about that! Do you read dcmk fics as well, and if so what are your favourites? :D

Both, if done right! Though if I had to choose one, it would probably be angst because apparently I love suffering as much as I hate it 😅. But I don’t really mind either one, so long as it’s good! 😁 What about you?
