having 3 disorders really suck because all of them are affected by sleep so if i'm not sleeping due to a hypomanic or manic episode then you best believe the ptsd flashbacks and nightmares will worsen. don't even get me started about what that will do to the bpd. the same thing can happen vice versa, staying up to deal with flashbacks and or bpd episodes will make the bipolar psychosis come back. it's no fun having to spend hours regulating before bed only to have flare ups in the duration between walking from the toilet to your bed. sleeping late isn't great as medications become less effective due to a built tolerance. i really can't win in this situation
