I'm in the process of turning my bedroom and solarium on a latin cottagecore\grandmacore of sorts.
Its a slow process, because no money and chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia.
During my life I had always loved miniatures. So, when I saw this Hot Wheels organizer the size of a type drawer, it was easy to figure out how to use it.
With old gift wrapping papers, some washi tape and origami paper I turned it in a nice place for my miniatures.
There are 81 little niches, what is a lot. I put just a few objects of different materials to check if the installation is fine - I will just freak out if it fall full of my mementos. The background colors help to distract from the emptiness.
It took me several months to put ot together, between the fatigue and the fibro flares, but I'm glad it is working out
