day 17 - 1/17/24 - bell sprite
this one's in a bit of a panic and trying to alert people nearby however it can! it's glowing brightly and ringing its bell wildly. it seems like it thought i was injured and is trying to call for help! i was able to calm it down and communicate to it that i was not injured, but not without snapping a photo first!
day 98 - 4/7/24 - campfire sprite
This one is attached to a big campfire, but when they're not attached to a big campfire like this, they carry around a small campfire at the end of their tail! Like how a Bell Sprite has a bell attached to its tail.
Attaching to an existing campfire is how they sleep. As long as there is a campfire sprite sleeping at your campfire, it will never go out!
day 112 - 4/21/24 - anchor sprite
i'm catchin' up! i'm catchin' up!
ironically, the anchor sprite behaves like a floatation device! the body sits upon the surface of the water, and the heavy tail hangs below. they will find and help people who are in danger of drowning - acting as an "anchor" to hang onto. achors are a very grabbable shape, after all!
day 67 - 3/7/24 - umbrella sprite
i've enjoyed drawing weird little freaks with no direction but i think i want to get back into drawing more "conceptual" designs now! here's the umbrella sprite! :D
related to the bell sprite! due to the umbrella attached to its head, its body is always dry no matter what! it can change the umbrella's size as needed in order to help people and animals stay out of the rain, but this does make it heavier, so it becomes harder to fly. nothing these guys can't handle!
also i've been considering adding an element system to my guys. not for any practical purposes, just for flavor and because it might be funny (because, for example, bonehweel's elements would be bone/wheel) also it connects some creatures in a way you wouldn't expect! :] i probably won't add it to the posts though lol. maybe i'll put it on the neocities...
this one would be water/spirit probably. anyway, i like this guy! :D i hope you do too!
