One of the most beautiful bodies on the Bugatti Type 57 chassis was built in 1939 by VanVooren according to the design of Figoni & Falaschi. Rounded teardrop fenders with closed front and rear wheel arches and chrome trims, scratched side vents, a very low folding windshield and teardrop-shaped headlight grilles made the car a true work of art on wheels.

The New York Auto Show also featured some truly stunning classics on loan from the Saratoga Auto Museum in upstate New York. 1931 Duesenberg Model J 1938 Bugatti Type 57C 1931 Stutz DV-32 Typical of luxury cars in this time period, all three of these cars have custom bodies built by a coachbuilder and straight 8 engines under the hood. The Duesie and Bugatti are supercharged. I think these cars are incredibly beautiful. I'm partial to the Duesie.
