Stuck in a Typhoon

Not a good day. Island is going under a bad typhoon, apparently it "hasn't even really hit" but it feels like it already has. So the worse is yet to come. Areas in the south has been flooded, power is out in most villages, wind is definitely blowing pretty hard. Very strong winds. Trees were knocked down on the streets and some homes. People seeking safe places in storm shelters, and others are out in the emergency vehicles and news channel trucks. I pray for their safety, as well as the island's well being. I hope this storm lifts soon.
