A lot of the default dyes are gross and too bright. You can find, make, or buy different dyes and change your colors from the 'Hero' menu at any time, so don't stress about armor colors too much.
But given the option, I like the second combination better.

the mostly-white one looks like a uniform or something. the second one looks better imo
that's what I liked about the first one tbh because it kinda reminds me of Ky Kiske and Flynn Scifo but literally everybody that answered keeps saying the dark one is better
