We’re font of great type design at Loyola Special Collections & Archives. For this week’s #TypographyTuesday we bring you an interesting 1927 publication of The New York Times Manual of Typographical Standards. This 3rd edition lays out regulations governing correct typography for the different classifications of advertising submitted to the newspaper, and includes a graphic illustration describing the rotogravure process.
