Carmen hasn’t chosen a side.
She'd rather keep her options open, though from her experience? A group like the GPU doesn’t promise any freedom, at least not in the way she would want it. Not to say she trusts the stars, but she’s wary either way.
She’s started by investigating the GPU’s technology, but even her best hacking hasn’t gotten her anywhere near this mysterious phone number, or the people who took over Ofiuco. She’s camped out with a laptop near one of the lengths of wire, planning to cut it once she’s done.
The sound of footsteps is enough to make her heart race, and she slams the laptop shut, ready to run if she’s cornered by one of those monsters. While no monsters appear, she’s instead greeted by a familiar face.
“Tyreen, what a surprise.” She drops her guard, though only slightly, at the sight of someone she at least considers a friendly acquaintance. Can’t be too careful-- especially because she doesn’t know Tyreen’s goals in all this. “What are you doing here?”
