August 27. Treat Yo Shelf Day. The Road Trip Edition. If I ever end up roadtripping out west (as my Ohio self would very much like to do someday), I’d love to take this poetry book with me and read it under an enormous starry sky. I think that’d be basically The Best Ever, and so it is on my list of goals. Plus I totally caved and bought it new on Amazon because I’ve been waiting literal months for my store to get it in and we haven’t. Naturally, I had to turn to the competition, but I had to for @treatyoshelfday, right? Right.

For August’s @treatyoshelfday, I decided to pre-order myself the two different signed hardcover copies of Nevernight by Jay Kristoff.  I read the egalley in June and fell madly in love with it.  While the US edition came in from BN, I am still waiting on the UK (pre-ordered from Goldsboro Books) one since that release date was later and it may have gotten caught up in customs.  Hopefully it will be here soon, though!  And yeah, no regrets.  This book is worth it.

My mum picked up my preorder of Nevernight near the beginning of the month, then I went out today with my sister and a friend to the mall; I picked up the Cranberry Chutney candle from Yankee! It smells amazing!
