[ 🧸 ] does your muse keep anything sentimental? if so, what do they keep and why?

He keeps his family home even after he moves out of it purely for the sake that he buried his father nearby in a small hillside next to his mother (who passed during his childbirth). It was their home built from the foundation up. He still visits their graves every year on their birthdays/anniversary of their passings. He might've shed the past life he lived at his old village but his childhood home is too sentimental to let go.

And who knows yet if he makes something out of it in the future. :)

✿            "n-no, um, i... haven’t taken any schooling...” it hadn’t been open to half elves in her village; and despite her natural curiosity she’d never the time nor patience to try as an adult. and now, here... in part isn’t her state shameful? “i don’t think i could even choose to attend if i wanted to. i don’t have the skills needed to attend college.”

43. Why did your last relationship end?

✿            she hates this question. its not one she can bring herself to detail. "hmm... how to put it simply... love has its limits before it transforms into something different, and... at times scary. thats what happened: where i loved, he depended and devoted, and knowing...” she paused, not wishing to think about it, “... i ran and hoped that’d... well, help him.” because she will always want the best for him.

✿           “not at all. i would never have imagined my life to be this way. even now... some days i wake and find myself taken back because... although i’ve been through many challenges, i’ve got a house and a bed, and food. i’m allowed to choose where i work and what kind of work it is. i can walk through the grocery and tie my hair up and-- this is the normal everyone else experienced that i’ve never know. i wished to know this, but never in all my years thought it possible to see.”
