18. What did they find abroad, and what did they remember?
So because Sadamitsu’s originally from Doma, he came to Eorzea for refuge. But one of the biggest things he remembers was meeting Natael in the Deep Dungeon [Palace of the Dead]. Somehow, they ended up in a two man party and had to fight their way to the very end. Sadamitsu remembers their time in between long stretches, where they rested and kept watch. [It’s when he started to fall in love with the miqote.]
19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
Even before the Empire, his family, being Au Ra welcomed under the Domans, were the lowest on the social ladder. He thought he’d remain under them, serving them until he died. The idea of servitude was learned from a very young age, and he didn’t begin questioning it until he fled to Eorzea. Now his disillusions remain with governments, heads of state, but he never reveals that in conversation.
21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?
Sadamitsu is pretty polite and well-spoken, as he picked up the manners of those in the upper classes. He’s not necessarily the typical hero in terms of blindly obeying orders or prophesies, but unfortunately for him he hasn’t had much choice. As for who they hate? The only thing they could ever hate, aside from the Empire as a collective, is the friend who he suspected betrayed him and his village.
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?
He has a small group of friends, some of which include his FC mates. As for his lovers, he has TWO. His fellow Azure Dragoon, Estinien [although their relationship with Estinien is complicated...] and his husband Natael. As for his type? He just wants someone who’s patient with him, who listens and takes interest into his hobbies, although they are few. And someone who won’t tease him when he dances.
