Back To School Senior Year
Okay, so seeing as how this can be a great topic to start with, and seeing as how I haven't really spoken to any of you in quite a long time, it's time to talk back to school!
I go to an all girls school, and I've been there since the 6th grade. I was a part of their first 6th grade installment, consisting of only 25 girls, and now I'm a senior with a class of 70 young, wonderfully talented women venturing into the real world beside me.
So with all that poetic wording done, let's talk facts.
We had to wait outside UNTIL 8:20 today, but because that's about 550 so girls, the line to get into school was murder (my friends and I were standing out there since 8, and we didn't get in until 8:48.) Nobody knows why we had to do that, but the school didn't give anyone detention for coming in late, since they knew it would happen. We used to go from 8:45-3:15 (2:40 on Fridays), and now we go form 8:40-3:06 (2:36 on Fridays). They were trying to get the girls out earlier, but as you can see there wasn't much leeway. Nonetheless, anything is better, and 5 minutes early in the morning for 9 minutes early in the afternoon? Can't complain.
That is if I had a 7th period. Turns out I don't, I've only got up to 6th, and electives are 7th. I really want to take film, so I'll only have a 7th on Wednesdays and Thursdays, which isn't a pain; Friday's I get out even earlier, and that is honestly just so beautiful.
I'm sorry if this seems a little rushed and like I'm bragging; I really don't mean for it to come off like at all! There's a longgg story to this, and I'm actually about to go to bed, but I'll be sure to explain everything tomorrow in more clear depth and what not.
