Reflecting on why I’m so desperate to read Ty’s POV, I realised that the reason why is that Ty is actually an extremely closed character. The only people he shares his thoughts and/or feelings with are Livvy and Kit, therefore we really don’t know what goes on inside his head, AND THAT’S WHAT’S KILLING ME!! I NEED to read Ty, I need to know what he feels, what he thinks, what the true reactions to all the stuff happening in his life are. Because we only see him through other people’s perspectives, and, at the end of the day, that’s still not how Ty sees himself, it’s how others see him. Also, Ty is TSC’s first autistic character, and I really want to know how that affects his narration. And I know, I know that the reason why Cassandra hasn’t shared much from Ty snippet wise is because she first passes those chapters through her sensitive readers, but that doesn’t stop me from going insane and losing my mind over not being able to read him. 😭😭😭

what is the longest amount of time you’ve let a draft rest before you finished it? wow hmm. in general the witchboy drafts would sit for a long time before i finished them. that series spanned seven years! and for much of that time i would have large chunks of the next thing written but not finished. it wasn’t my favorite way to work—mostly i only post completed things now.

a trope you’re into right now: texting fics :) probably because a lot of hr fics are doing that. i’m trying my hand at writing one for the first time!

1. devotion (Inquisition) - Stormy was named after a shepherd my mom had growing up who only seemed to like my grandma out of everyone in the house.

2. Recursion (bg3) - I wrote all of this on Christmas Day. I started at like 5am (hungover) and finished around 1am that night and waited until the morning to post it.

3. Tresses (Inquisition) - My elf Inquisitor Sana was named after a character from a novel I wrote like 1/3 of in 2021-ish but her appearance is from a different character.

4. fawn (bg3) - I was in the absolutely most treacherous part of my cycle while writing this so I just kept looking at these super high quality jpegs of fawns and crying. Literally crying. They're just so small. And their mothers tuck them away to keep them safe GUH.

5. reality check (bg3) - I got really close to making an elimination chart of all the episodes and all the contestants but once I realized how complicated it would be I decided to place a lot of the extra drama off screen.
