My family is Orthodox, but I'm queer and the person I've fallen in love with is Christian... And the same gender as me. We plan to raise our future family in an interfaith family. I'm going to be moving to a reform synagogue, one that is both lgbtq+ and interfaith supportive, but I still want to wear a tichel after I'm married, like I've planned to my entire life. Will a reform synagogue likely be against my honoring of this mitzvah? I know most don't view tznius the same way as I grew up.

Hi jumblr. My father tells me that at a relative’s funeral (I wasn’t there as I wasn’t born yet) the rabbi said something about how g-d can see only what you do not brag about (paraphrase). I am not sure what this was in reference to or if it was a metaphor, a joke, a textual verse, or an interpretation, and I can’t find anything about it online. Can someone help me with this? Thank you!

Also on the previous ask — I think it was related to good deeds. Like if you brag about a good deed, g-d doesn’t see that you did it.

FOR Orthodox but anyone who uses the terms I guess. I know and use both tzunit/s and tzunua but I don't understand the differences between them--any insight? (i.e. "that's not tzunua enough for my standards" or "tzunis is important to me") Is it noun/adjective?

I think they’re pretty cute. I don’t like tight stuff (even my pencil skirts aren’t that tight), so I wouldn’t be able to wear it without feeling super uncomfortable, but if you don’t mind, go ahead. Did the arguments over Mimu Maxi’s skirt leggings not being tzanua (modest) lessened in number? A few years ago that’s all people would talk about, haha.
