Attention all tznius keeping humans (and really all skirt wearing people who like practical skirts):

Remember how a few years ago, shells with actual crew necks were popular, and then they weren't? And before that, formal but lightweight leggings that could go under skirts were popular until they weren't? And before that, lightweight oblong scarves perfect for hair wrapping were popular and then they weren't?

Flat front stretch back midi skirts with pockets are popular and in style this season!!!!! Get them NOW before the fashion world moves onto something else!! Do not miss this moment!

Seriously I just did a Kohl's stock up and am considering a Target one too. They aren't even that expensive in the scheme of durable clothing from major retailers.

Over the past few months I've made more of an effort to dress tznius, which is easy for me in winter but I'd like to continue doing so through the warmer months. What are some tips for dressing tznius in summer weather?

For context I am an unmarried woman and summers in my area get up to the 80s-90s F/30s C.

Something I love about tznius and why I personally see value in it is because I'm frankly a very possessive person about myself and I like being able to have some control over how people perceive me. I usually see people talk about the religious aspect of tznius and while I appreciate that and love it, I've realized that I think I'm just very very possessive because I don't even think about our** religious commandments in that area.

kuzco from the emperor's new groove is a good one, in that it's totally tznius without changing anything and is also INSTANTLY recognizable (and fun)

terra from teen titans (besides being one of the characters of all time) is a good one that's pretty simple to adjust to being tznius. I don't feel comfortable in crop tops so I just,,, didn't wear one when I cosplayed her. slap on a flairy yellow skirt and you're good to go!

I cosplayed her with shorts, but luz noceda from the owl house would be pretty easy, wear a long sleeve shirt and a denim skirt instead!

some other ideas:

cruella deville is super easy, wear a black dress with a higher neckline!

I've thought for YEARS that the thirteenth doctor's look would be a super simple tznius cosplay with a long swishy skirt since her pants are already so wide

hope some of these ideas help you anon! I currently do wear pants but I remember how difficult (and often annoying) it was to find good, recognizable, and fun cosplays that were still tznius.
