German U-567 commanded by Engelbert Endrass. He was the 23rd highest scoring U-Boat ace of World War II sinking twenty-two ships on ten patrols, for a total of 118,528 tons of Allied shipping He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Germany's highest military decoration at the time of its presentation to Engelbert Endrass. Note the snorting bull emblem on the conning tower painted (last gif), the crew also wore snorting bull badges on their caps (2nd & 3rd gif).
