What was the most daunting part of working on U-phoria has become my favorite part of it! The MAP!
I knew I wanted to have a map and I wanted it to have some detail with notable landmarks, but vague enough that GMs and players can be creative and fill in some details when they want/need to. I hope I stuck that balance, but we'll see how the play testing goes.
My absolute favorite part of this has to be the little warning icons! The map was giving me some google maps vibes, and I though populating it with little warnings about construction and crashes would be fun and maybe spark some ideas for players. What's more dystopian than maps telling you, "gunfight up ahead, rerouting"
Not gonna lie, I kinda want to make more warning icons, but I don't want to clutter it with too many of them.
