If there's one thing I love, it's being fashionably late to a party. Not this time. R&B-tinged post-dubstep outfit U.T.R.B. (Until The Ribbon Breaks) dropped this single back in February on UK label Push & Run. And what a choon it is, with a creepily seductive video of found-footage to go along with it. To think - I could have already played this on repeat a few thousand times, ramming each note and bass kick into my brain until I can’t hear a door slam without humming along.

From the info I’ve been able to gather, Until The Ribbon Breaks (U.T.R.B. for short) is a project of Cardiff based Pete Lawrie and producer Rollo Armstrong. Pressure is U.T.R.B.’s first offering and it’s a brilliant coming together of electro, post dubstep and smooth R&B vocals.
