“I don’t need to watch tv. Just let us sit.”
“And enjoy the fire.”
Ubbe gives you a wink when the wood in the fireplace starts to burn.
“Exactly.”
Smiling you watched the fire, taking Ubbe in your arms as he lied down again, his head on your chest.
“Make yourself comfortable dear.”
With raised eyebrows he looked up to you.
“I’m fine with sitting like this. If I lie down now I would probably be asleep within minutes.”
Stroking over his hair and forehead you enjoy the calm atmosphere.
“Maybe we should dance to keep you awake.”
Ubbe loved it to dance with you, especially alone in your apartment and to a slow song.
“Maybe yes. But to a Christmas song.”
In a second he was back on his feet, making his way to the record player.
You emptied your glass of wine and followed him, but the music started before you could see which music he chose.
“You’re serious?”
Laughing you let him grab your hand and put the other on your waist.
“You said Christmas didn’t you.”
He was grinning as well as he slowly started moving to Last Christmas.
“You’re a hopeless romantic.”
“Only when I’m with you.”
You blushed by his words before snuggle into the crook of his neck.
“But what will you play on Christmas Eve? The most romantic and annoying christmas song is playing now.”
His laughter vibrated against your forehead which caused you to smile.
“There are millions of christmas songs.Don’t worry I will find one.”
