Mindori Matcha in Little Tokyo (in the astronaut plaza off of first street). I had an Iced Matcha Latte with Almond Milk and a match creme puff. The place is really cute and centrally located to the surrounding Little Tokyo area. By some miracle of God I was even able to find street parking but they also offer 15 minute validation if you have to park in the lot. The cafe is small but very clean with a modern Japanese style. The neon "M" offers a green glow throughout the room. They stay relatively busy but I noticed most people were ordering the matcha soft serve ice cream cone (something i will try in the near future) so the wait is quick. The creme puff was good but it wasn't overly excellent. They also had eclairs, Matcha tapioca pudding, a Match cake, and other matcha infused beverages in the cold case. I believe they rotate their pastries on a daily basis, as I have seen images of donuts and other goodies posted on their Instagram account. My latte was fantastic. Seriously. Finally, I can get some organic, authentic matcha (sourced straight from Kyoto)!! If you are a die hard matcha lover like myself then this is the right matcha for you. It's so earthy and umami. The almond milk is creamy and the perfect base pairing for the matcha. Since I ordered an iced latte, it took a few minutes for the drink to become fully cold. After 10 minutes, my latte was cold and the matcha had infused the almond milk so that it kept getting better and better with every sip. I was so sad when I got to the last 25% of my drink! If you aren't into the raw flavor of matcha then I'd recommend adding sugar to your drink or ordering the matcha milk shake =]... Overall I'd give this place 4/5 stars! Can't wait to go back for a soft serve when I'm in the mood...

Enigma Coffee on Sunset Blvd and Ogden Dr in WeHo... Stopped here for for a quick Iced Vanilla Latte with Almond Milk. My latte was good, not too sweet, and the almond milk was really creamy. The location is perfect if you're on the Sunset strip as it is within walking distance to so many shops, The Standard, and then some. However, it's super small–basically a counter with a handful of 2-person tables. There are about 3 additional tables outside. I didn't order any pastries because they (honestly) didn't look too appealing. They are also clearly purchased from another place or baked offsite since there is no kitchen onsite. The barista was really nice, the place was extremely clean, and cool (as in A/C) inside with some great music playing. I'd recommend this place for a quick coffee to go, but it's not a place where one would lounge around and spend too much time due to the lack of space and seating. My latte was great but a little on the pricey side. Overall I'd give them 3/5 stars.
