HOW TO FIND YOUR UBER RATING
If you attended last night’s performance (July 14th) of PRIVACY, you may have struggled to find your personal rating in the Uber app.
To our surprise, this feature had mysteriously disappeared from the ride-hailing app between rehearsals at 5pm yesterday afternoon and curtain up.
We now have an explanation – of sorts.
Perplexed by it absence, PRIVACY’s video designer, Duncan McLean, tweeted Uber shortly after intermission:
@Uber How come you've removed the "I'd like to know my rating" feature in your app?
— Duncan McLean (@duncanjmclean)
Ten minutes later, @Uber_Support tweeted Duncan back, inviting him into a private Direct Message conversation.
After a brief exchange, Uber’s unnamed support representative acknowledged this feature had gone missing – apparently by mistake.
In short, Duncan fixed Uber.
As of 11am this morning (July 15th), the “I’d like to know my rating” feature has been restored by Uber.
If you would like to know your rating, simply follow these instructions:
- Open the Uber app on your smartphone
- Click the menu icon in the left hand corner of the app
- Scroll down to select “Account and Payment”
- Select “Account Settings and Ratings”
- Scroll down to select “I’d like to know my rating”
