Si lo hubiese sabido, no lo hubiera intentado, si hubiera estado consciente, no lo habría echo, entonces hay cosas que nunca pensé en cometer y hay opciones que nunca considere elegir, pero no es como si siempre se tratara de elegir, hay veces que el destino elige por ti, y se que no es hacerme responsable de lo que me pasa pero siempre será mas fácil echarle la culpa al destino, a dios... aun cuando no haya a quien culpar... te gustaría lastimarme?

“83 DEGREES AND SUNNY”

This 2012 work on the walls of the Ramada Inn, on Harrison Street in Hollywood, Florida, between 19th and 20th was designed to reflect the growing live music scene of the arts district. “Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Ubiera got interested in graffiti and street art when he was subsequently transplanted to the Bronx,” reports the Broward Palm Beach New Times. From Santo Domingo he moved to Salem, Massachusetts, but in 1994 moved to Florida to attend the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Florida, he says, is “like a fungus—it grows on you.” In 2012 Miami New Times named Ubiera the Street Artist of the Year, and today he is known as one of the hardest working artists in town.
