Steep Road to the Olympics, un prodotto con licenza ufficiale dei Giochi olimpici invernali PyeongChang 2018, è un’espansione di Steep, il celebre gioco d’azione sportivo con discipline come sci alpino, snowboard, parapendio, tuta alare, tuta alare con razzi, slittino, base jumping e speed riding.

Con lo sviluppo guidato dal team di Ubisoft Annecy, Steep Road to the Olympics include alcune testimonianze video di atleti olimpionici e stelle in ascesa, che forniranno una serie di informazioni e suggerimenti su ciascuna disciplina.

L’espansione Steep Road to the Olympics offre alcuni nuovi eventi di sci alpino e freestyle, tra cui slalom gigante, slalom speciale, supergigante, discesa libera, slalom gigante parallelo, half-pipe, snowboard cross, slopestyle, Big air, ski half-pipe, ski cross e ski slopestyle.

In questa modalità, i giocatori e i nuovi utenti che vogliono creare i propri trick freestyle vivranno la carriera di un giovane atleta impegnato ad allenarsi in tre eventi freestyle (Big air, half-pipe e slopestyle) per raggiungere i Giochi olimpici invernali e diventare il primo atleta a vincere la medaglia d’oro in tutti e 3 gli eventi.

  Gli studi coinvolti nel progetto sono Ubisoft Kiev, Ubisoft Pune e Ubisoft Belgrado.

Ubisoft aggiunge una nuova modalità cooperativa in Far Cry 5 “Amici Mercenari”,

Ubisoft ha svelato maggiori dettagli sulla modalità cooperativa online di Far Cry 5: “Amici Mercenari”. Disponibile già dal lancio, i giocatori potranno allearsi con un amico per liberare Hope County dalla setta del Progetto Eden’s Gate. Subito dopo il tutorial, Far Cry 5 sarà giocabile in modalità cooperativa online.

STEEP: A Massive Open World of the Alps & Alaska -- Official Gameplay Launch Trailer (PC, PS4, XOne)

Ubisoft announced two betas for their upcoming snowboarding/skiing open world experience Steep.

An early access beta, for which players can sign up here, will run between November 10th to 14th. An open beta will take place the following week between November 18th to 21st. Both phases of the beta will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

These Beta phases will allow players to discover the diversity of Steep’s world by exploring, riding and completing dozens of challenges through three of the seven regions that compose Steep’s massive open world inspired by the Alps – the Aravis, the Tyrol and the Needles. Players will also find nine Mountain Stories – narrative-based contests that will delve deeper into unique moments in the world of Steep – throughout their journey. Completing these challenges and Mountain Stories will also unlock new gear for players to customise their characters.

Steep drops players onto the peaks of mountains with exhilarating experiences that include skiing, wingsuiting, snowboarding and paragliding. These sports establish a never seen before freedom to explore the game’s open world, allowing players to choose the way they ride and play. Riders can traverse the Alps solo or drop in side-by-side with friends to record and share the most insane tricks ever captured on the slopes. Designed for a generation that’s all about sharing their experiences with the world, Steep encourages players to challenge their friends to see who truly comes out on top of the world.

Steep releases on December 2nd for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
