i believe it came from the fact that he doesn’t have a proper shop for his business so he just cuts people’s hair on the side of the road, which led to people thinking he was homeless and sold the people’s hair he cut to make more money xDD

can I ask you how you tend to draw your backgrounds for your drawings? Like, do you have a way you practice them/set them up? Any tips for people who need practice at drawing environments? ;3;

aaaa to be honest i’m really bad at giving advice, but I will try my best ;;u;;

Here’s the step by step:

Note that the most important thing is the depth. So be sure to add another layer of shadow and black strokes.

And here’s my favorite tutorials from pixiv:

(x) Guide to how to draw with fish-eye perspective

(x) Guide to the line thickness

(x) How to paint building with silhouette

(x) How to draw landscape and lighting tricks

Another way is by using Google Sketchup, this one is recommended if you’re gonna draw some complicated buildings because they provide so many kinds of it. Also, if you want to draw more authentic building, use Google Street View and set it to open street map. Screenshot, then trace it (not really recommended because the angles are limited).

Outdoor live-sketching is pretty important, it can be anywhere, parks, office, or maybe while we’re on train. Practice by sketching photo we found from internet is also good, but we can’t choose the angle so outdoor live-sketching is way better.
