First Meeting of the Semester!

Hey guys,

We're all so excited to kick the semester off with you guys, with our first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday @ 8pm in Union Room 322. This'll be more of an introductory meeting so you guys know what to expect out of this semester with our group and learn more about the To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) organization.

There'll be snacks and this'll be a good opportunity to get to know the officers. But remember meetings are not mandatory so you can come and go as you please so no pressure, but the more people the merrier. :)

If you have any questions just let me know and I will get back to you ASAP.

TWLOHA Tuesday Meeting: Suicide Preventation

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having a good week! Tomorrow is Tuesday and as per usual we're having a meeting at 8 PM in SLC101B. This week's topic is Suicide Prevention. We're having a presentation and movie shown from the University Counseling Center. As well, nominations are due tomorrow so if you haven't submitted nominations they're due tomorrow before 7 pm. 

Also, reminder, there is not a meeting next week. But when we come back, our next and last meeting of the semester is December 2nd. That is also our election day and when we do White Elephant/gift exchange.

TWLOHA Tuesday: Depression and Desire Meeting

Hey guys!

I hope everyone is having a good week so far, staying warming hopefully. It's Tuesday again and that means meeting as per usual. This week's topic is: Depression and Desire. Same time, same place. 8 pm in SLC101B. We will be watching an informative TedTalk by Jamie Tworkowski, the founder of TWLOHA and discussing amongst ourselves. Also at this meeting we will be accepting nominations for elections for next semester's officers. 

REMINDER: This Thursday is also our fundraiser! At Gaines Street Pies from 6 to Midnight we will be hanging out, chatting, and of course eating pizza. Make sure to mention us when you check out! :) (note: here are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.)

TWLOHA Tuesday: Trust Meeting

Hey everyone!!

It's Tuesday again and here's your reminder of the meeting we're doing on Trust tonight. It's at 8PM in SLC101A. Same time, same place as always. :) As well, part of this meeting will be outside so dress accordingly. But don't worry you'll be fine, trust us!

As well, next Tuesday is the week of Halloween so if you want to dress up you're more than welcome but if you're not comfortable, that's fine too! Also, if you guys want to bring snacks or something that's cool too!

ALSO, we have a fundraiser on November 6th @ Gaines Street Pies!! There will be a facebook event soon and I look forward to seeing everyone.

Tuesday Meeting: Mood Disorders

Hey everyone!

I hope you're having a good week so far. It's Tuesday again which means meeting time once again. However, first off I want to think everyone who came to our fundraiser at nuberri last week. We really appreciate it!

This week our meeting is on Mood Disorders and we will be having a presentation on them from the University Counseling Center! We'll be in the same place, SLC 101B at the same time, 8 PM.
