Hello everyone!! Just a reminder that we are currently partaking in a fundraiser with Nuberri! I'm emailing you to let you know that a bunch of people have agreed to go as a group tomorrow and grab some delicious fro-yo!! If you have some free time tomorrow evening, we will be meeting on campus between 7 and 7:30 p.m. in front of the FSU Bookstore to carpool!! If you can't go tomorrow night, feel free to go on your own any time between now and April 12th. Just make sure you mention To Write Love On Her Arms!!

TWLOHA Tuesday Meeting: Suicide Preventation

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having a good week! Tomorrow is Tuesday and as per usual we're having a meeting at 8 PM in SLC101B. This week's topic is Suicide Prevention. We're having a presentation and movie shown from the University Counseling Center. As well, nominations are due tomorrow so if you haven't submitted nominations they're due tomorrow before 7 pm. 

Also, reminder, there is not a meeting next week. But when we come back, our next and last meeting of the semester is December 2nd. That is also our election day and when we do White Elephant/gift exchange.

FSU Involvement Affair

Hey everyone,

I hope you're all having a great first day of the semester! Tomorrow (Tuesday, August 26th) is the Fall Involvement Fair from 7-9 pm in the Oglesby Union Courtyard. This is a great way to find organizations that you may be interested in, and we would absolutely love to see you stop by our table! Many of the current members found out about the club through this event.

 If you'd like to come by to help let us know at [email protected]. As well if you want to just stop by for a little bit and chat or hang out that is perfectly okay as well.

I just got out of the FSU Resources and Travel Allocation Committee and they approved fully funding registration fees for four officers of the TWLOHA-FSU UChapter for the TWLOHA UChapter conference in cape canaveral this summer! It still has to get through Senate on Wednesday, but there were people in RTAC who really advocated for us during their internal deliberation so I have faith :)

As some of you may know, NEDAwareness Week (National Eating Disorders Awareness Week), and if you didn't know you now. And because of that our meeting this week will be on Eating Disorders!

As always, the meeting will be in SLC101A @ 8 PM. And this week it'll be presented by the help of the University Counseling Center.

Hey everyone!

TWLOHA's annual event Heavy and Light is coming up. I went last year for the first time and it was a great experience, and I'm excited for this. A group of us from the UChapter will be going. The event is a great reminder of the ups and downs of life. It's at the House of Blues in Orlando on the 19th.

Living Stories Benefit

Hey there FSU and lovely people alike!

It's that time of year again!

The To Write Love on Her Arms FSU UChapter is pleased to announce it's 2nd annual benefit: Living Stories. It will be held at the Wesley Foundation. The same location as last year. And it will be on  Friday, February 28, 2014 at 7 pm!

This year we will be highlighting the part creativity plays in our stories and our recoveries. I know many of you are or know artists, musicians, writers, and performers. We need your help!

PERFORMERS!

If you would like an opportunity to display your talents- whether it be singing, playing an instrument,reading a story, performing a poem, reciting a monologue, etc-

We want you!

It may be original or covers, alone or ensembles.

Please be aware that we won't be able to pay you

Not only will we be having live performances, but we will also be highlighting art pieces of displayable mediums- paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, etc. You can lend them, donate them, or split the profit 50/50!

If you would like to perform a song, read a poem, recite a monologue, donate an art piece, whatever it may be:
