hey there! what kanji did you choose for naming akane (madara’s mom)? i’m making family trees and didn’t have a name for her before coming across your hc (i’m still working on other areas so most peeps are still unnamed lol), and i think i’d like to adopt your hc if you don’t mind that. if you haven’t chosen the kanji, may i do the honor? i think i have an idea that’s just perfect for her ;)

Honestly, I'm not too good with kanji because information on all the variations is limited and I don't speak Japanese, but I do intend her name to be a reference to the madder plant. Otherwise, do as you please!

Uchiha Akane was not a prodigy. She struggled to make her way up in the life of shinobi if only to live up to her brother's image. She would not be a disgrace to him, she would be known for her own strength and ability and not for being Uchiha Shisui's younger sister. She would protect Shisui with all her might, and if he died in the field, she would protect his memory.
