I was watching Man of Steel last night (I still don't like it 😆), and I forgot they filmed a couple of scenes in Ucluelet BC! I grew up there a bit! I hated the town because that's where the bullying was the worst, and also it's where my parents had their very, very, very ugly divorce.

The store on the left down the hill was the only place you could rent video games, and there were maybe 25 titles available. This was in 1996, 97. The store on the right was a bar.
