@udaas93 I know Disney were problematic back in the day. They still are now. Mulan actually had Ming-Na Wen which was good but now they’re changing that, Moana is a good example.

The Belle thing, honestly, I don’t care. Everyone sees her as ‘white’ and if people did have a problem they’d voice it.

I know people play different nationalities, but that’s the casting directors being idiots. 

Hold up…I’m restricting/hyperpolicing Asians???? I am Asian. (idk if you’re asian yourself also?) All that I want is good representation, not just for me. I know Aladdin has all the different variations but going off what majority of people know and what guy ritchie is doing, its middle eastern. The reason you probably see it with Asians the most is because its such a huge continent? In the US you say Asian and they think far east (china/japan etc) and in the UK you say Asian and they think west and central Asia (india/pakistan/iraq etc).

The reason everyone is wanting more representation is because we should have it. Hollywood’s done enough whitewashing for a lifetime. If we don’t push for more PoC actors to play those PoC, you bet your ass they won’t give it to us.

rpf is written for fans and posted on certain fansites and was on tumblr tags before antis started attacking

I love Climon too

They really were too cute for a ship that we weren’t supposed to root for. Same with Simon x Maia, btw - just when they were growing strong, Maia had to be sidelined for the endgame ship. I wish the show took the time to let these things develop naturally!

I agree. The hate is rather extreme. Kat in particular is very supportive of Climon. It is sad that both of them along with the writers kept getting attacked everytime either of them posted about Climon. I hope both of them get some positivity for Climon at the Italian Con and Comic-Con

Ugh i hope so! It’s really unbelievable how such a cute and pure relationship can get so much hate :/ sigh
