Hello from your Secret Santa! You're a fan of Jossam and Mike/Jess. What's your preferred take on Chrashley and Emily/Matt? Specifically, are you of the opinion that Emily is just with Matt to make Mike jealous, or do you prefer them to be a legitimate item? And how do you see Emily and Jess's friendship being after the events of the game?

Love Chrashley. I think they are the cutest canon ship and I adore them together, but I also am chill about a platonic version of them. I don’t care if they are dating but they should always be best friends to me.
As for Matt/Emily. I detest the Emily hate she gets. But that being said. I don’t think they started dating specifically because Emily wanted to make Mike jealous, but it was a bonus. I think there wasn’t strong feelings on Emily’s end at first. More of a “let’s see how this goes. I might actually like Matt like that” and I think they’re still kinda in that place during the events of that game. That being said, I think Matt’s also kinda in that place too but maybe a little more leaning towards “I think it really like her” than Emily is. They’re both trying to figure out if they are actually suited romantically. I’m okay with them not being together and staying friends, and I’m okay if they keep on dating. I just hate it when people villainize Emily too much. I know it’s implied she’s cheating, but I think that has less to do with her feelings for Matt and more to do with her being caught up in her Big Ex/first Big Love and also being so young.
Post Game, if both Emily and Jess live I think they will go back to being best friends. Even if Jess stays with Mike (which I think they would and they’d be co-dependent a bit), I think Emily still would want to fox things between her ex-best friend. (Will she hate Mike forever? Maybe, but i don’t blame her). I hate seeing two queens pined against each other, so I think they’d work it out. Though how much/successfully their reborn friendship is is up to you!
