The Lost Sound(Miscommunication)
- The Lost Sound is a 3D Platform puzzle/ sidescroller/ adventure type game in a mystical fantasy world.
-The player must seek out the missing small living Relics through sound and symbols in order in a big mysterious huge tall tree.
-The game mechanics resembles of a recent platform game called Ori and the Blind Forest and the mobile Patapon. These games are only used as inspiration and references.
You have follow up the exact sounds and the exact symbols the Relics make to also interact with the environment to climb up in the right direction towards the objective.
The Relic creates an specific soundwave that you must carefully listen and follow, other Relic or creature soundwaves will get in the way for you to get confused and lost. Follow the right sounds to activate symbols that will help you build your way up to the relics, but some wrong symbol could be an awful mistake.
If you get to all the relics you will proceed to the next stage. Each stage will have more complex sound and different Relics to collect.
Follow the wrong sounds and Symbol and it will fade and be lost and the tree dies.
d. What is the view and the artstyle of the game?(camera types and graphics)
The game is a polygonal 3D and the render style is cartoon based similar to (The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker and Ori and Blind Forest). The ‘default’ camera angle is a side perspective view.
Once every 100 years hundreds of musical relics/ fruits that grows in the Tree of Sound, to perform a mystical song that open a portal in order for them to plant themselves and grow in another world. But there are other creatures that lurks in the Tree of Sound that eats relics, and they need a Guardian who can protect them. The Guardian wanders every 10 years in the Tree, must use his mystical warping soundwave to find all missing relics to before time runs out or them to find another home.
