UEFA World Cup Qualifying Round-Up
UEFA World Cup Qualifying Round-Up
The World Cup qualifiers continue on the European continent on Saturday as a host of teams squared up against each other at various match venues. UEFA you done fucked up.
The ruling finally came down today after it was postponed from yesterday to today.
Albania is accused of abandoning the game and therefore stuck with a loss. I’m sorry how in the unholy fuck were they supposed to go back to the pitch to play when “riot” police did nothing to stop spectators from physically assaulting the players? How were they supposed to keep going after a brawl with opposing players and fans transpired and players were injured?
Why was this game/match up allowed to happen in the first place? Why were there fans allowed in the stadium at all? Why would you award a win at all and not declare the game a draw? Why isn’t Serbia being charged with more when they were in charge of security and they failed epically? Why is Albania being fined €100,000 when they’ve already ‘lost’ the game? If the ref abandoned the game why is Albania accused with refusing to play? If there’s any truth to the ref wanting to continue the game why didn’t the Serbian team and the ref come back out on the pitch to actually see if the Albanians wanted to keep playing on not? What happened to Fifa’s fair play and no rasism? Which part of players being verbally and physically assaulted is fair play?
If one of the many chairs and objects that were thrown on the pitch had seriously injured an Albanian player would your ruling be different UEFA? Why?
UEFA kindly go FUCK yourself.
