I chose this popup to take a GIF of because I found that while some of the original Alice in Wonderland story differs from the Disney version I grew up with, the Cheshire Cat remained the same and I enjoyed the exaggerated nature of the cat’s mouth and eyes utilized to confuse Alice in the story.

Many of the moveable books had very interesting parts, but this piece of Alice in Wonderland was the most interesting to me because it visually represented a piece of the story in such an interesting way that I felt even more drawn into the interactive story than the others that I had read.

I really enjoy the complexity of this movable book. There are components, like the piglets enjoying their house, that add on to the story. The story itself is shaped in an accordion style, which allows it to fit inside the house shaped book. It is really unique and it definitely adds to the reading experience of such a commonly, yet enjoyable story.
