UFC 129 can now be see in its entirety

UFC 129 will have everyone of its 12 fights aired in some for or another. After announcing a pair of fights to be streamed on Facebook it was announced all 5 will be streamed on to the UFC fanpage on facebook. This move will make every fight on the card viewable in one form or another. The five prelim fights on facebook followed by Nate Diaz Rory McDonald and Sean Pierson Jake Ellenberger on Spike TV than the PPV main card. Roughly speaking that means there will be  6 hour broadcast by Zuffa across 2 platforms.

UFC Rematches That Will Never Happen II

Mark Hominick vs Jose Aldo II

At UFC 129, Jose Aldo defended his newly acquired UFC Featherweight Championship in his UFC debut. His opponent; arguably the best pure boxer in the Featherweight division, Mark Hominick. The two squared off in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was Hominick's backyard, his country, the fans were behind him and his family was cheering him on but the night started off badly for the Canadian.

He was dominated for the first three rounds, rocked on multiple occasions. In the fourth round, Hominick had a huge hematoma on his forehead which had the whole crowd horrified. In the fifth round, however, Mark started to turn things around, Aldo was visibly out of gas and Hominick's strikes began to land. By the end of the round, Hominick was on top of Aldo raining strikes down onto him desperately trying to finish the fight. Never before had anyone seen the champion in this kind of position at 145lbs. The one thing on everyones mind was; "is it too little, too late?" In the end, that statement proved right as Aldo retained his title by unanimous decision. Hominick had lost the fight but he took away a moral victory and hoped he would get a rematch.

The rematch would never be granted, though. Instead, he was pitted against, fan-favourite, Chan-Sung Jung. The fight only lasted a mere seven seconds as Hominick was surprisingly knocked out by the "Korean Zombie". 

With that loss, the man who took Aldo to his breaking point will likely never get a shot at redemption. He will take a while to climb back up the ladder and earn a title fight and by that time Aldo is likely to have already moved up 155lbs as many have anticipated. As of now, the future does not look bright for Mark Hominick.
