The Story

Hogwarts has been deemed safe again. It seems that the threat was just a juvenile prank. Authorities have the culprit, but names have been excluded to protect the student’s identity. All students have been set free to attend regular classes without supervision once more. All Ministry personnel has been sent back to their usual posts. The Ministry thanks you for your patience and trust in your Minister.

A few students were found to have had suspicious items on their person, but those who were deemed safe are now free to return to Hogwarts. We thank you for your trust in the Ministry.

If your student was taken to the Ministry, they are free to return. If they are the guilty party, contact the main for their community service.

The Story

Hogwarts authorities were notified by a Hufflepuff student when a burning piece of paper was found in their fireplace. It described, in great detail, an attack on Hogwarts. Parents are assured that all measures are being taken to keep their children safe. Aurors and any aurors-in-training, hit wizards, and other personnel are stationed outside and throughout the castle. Students are being escorted to and from class and all being made to spend the night in the Great Hall. Until the threat is neutralized, students are denied access to Hoggsmeade. All bags are being checked on an hourly basis. Students are asked to remain vigilant as the proper authorities sort through the matter.

The OOC info

The paper was found by a Hufflepuff student at 12:00pm on February 23rd. It was reported to her head of house, who took it to the Ministry of Magic, bypassing Albus Dumbledore. The Ministry quickly set up a perimeter and stationed aurors throughout Hogwarts. All students must remain at Hogwarts If your character has a position of protection or of usefulness, they may reside in Hogwarts. (Auror, Department of Law Enforcement, healer, Order members in SECRET by Dulmbledore’s request, etc) If your student is caught with something in their bag that makes them look suspicious, he or she will be taken to the Ministry of Magic for a hearing. Should you choose to do this, please immediately tell the main so that we can tell you the student’s options from there. A later announcement will be made for the closing of this event. (On October 11th) Until that time, starters are to be tagged with UFpaper.
