When the interns have free time from deliver maternal medical kits and promoting maternal-fetal health they get the opportunity to help the communities in Uganda with other side projects! Yesterday they participated in a Rotaract project at Salama School for the Blind in Mukono District. The interns planted fruit trees and fixed one of the boys dormitories by painting both the inside and outside and installing new windows. An Interact club from Seeta High School joined them to discuss their school and career goals. "Wow! It is unbelievable that three weeks have already passed. At the same time, it is equally baffling that we have only spent three weeks here in Mukono, Uganda! Truly, now, our accommodations at the Ugandan Christian University feel like home. These past three weeks have been nothing less than an exciting whirl of events.
