Hey guys I’m sorry I kinda keep dropping off the face of the earth for days at a time

I haven’t been writing lately because 1 school is really stressful and consumes a lot of my time, and 2 I get burnt out on writing fairly easily. That’s not to say that I’m not going to write anymore! It’s just that I’ll have days where I can write 4/5 posts and then days where I can’t push myself to do anything. Also, just looking at the amount of requests in my inbox gets so overwhelming that I can’t write one. Alternatively, if I try to start one and then I start another and now I have a bunch that are half-finished.

I’m working on managing it all, and I’m not leaving or anything, I’m just trying to explain why I haven’t been posting and I’m really sorry if anyone’s been thinking like “where is my request didn’t I send it like a month ago????” And the answer is yes you did and no I’m not ignoring it I’m just scattered right now.

there's a lot of shit going on in my family right now and it's really taken its toll on me, i feel exhausted all the time even tho i sleep a lot (long story short my sister is finally getting divorced but her husband is a total fucking asshole and threatens with suicide and all kinds of bullshit)

even thinking about going back to school makes me feel sick and anxious and i'm scared that i won't be able to concentrate on my schoolwork at all due to the bullshit going on, and i have super important exams this fall and i'm so fucking scared i'll fail finnish

i wanna draw male nude models bc i've seen a disproportionate amount of female nude models over male nude models in my art classes (especially in classes that happen to be run by men), and in art history the majority of works featuring nude figures are of (cis)women and are made by male artists, and there's this idea that women are "works of art" and men are their creators and I WANNA HELP PUT AN END TO THAT
