hmm I think he'd be terrified but also very excited. I think he would try and act like he's got it all under control but deep down he's freaking out. I think he would look at children with their parents with more yearning and smile at babies more than he usually would.

Hayko hiccups, leaning over his work desk, and pinches his nose bridge to focus his thoughts. He mumbles profanities at the ensuing headache the alcohol gave him.

“‘Wanna laugh at the question but it’s been so long since he properly did an’thing that really hurt me that-… Um, I took his car to the wash the other day since it got caught in the rain last week and he didn’t bother getting the grime off. It was getting on my nerves but he told me not to worry about it… but I did it anyway. Jus’ wanted to.”

Hayko smiles a bit. Hiccups again as he circles the rim of the glass, like Nick usually does.

Okay but like could you imagine making cookies with josty?? Like he’s not following directions properly but wants to help and almost puts in salt instead of sugar and just gets all flustered

it’d be all giggles and “tys noooo!” and eventually he just gives up trying to actually help and serves as moral support (“you measure that flour babe! hell yeah!”)
