if you could redo the og xmen movies so that john is a. actually Australian and b. canonically (aka CONFIRMED) in love with bobby, what things/scenes would you have put in them? I ask because your hcs and character analyses are TOP NOTCH and I wanted to know your thoughts on This Matter ~pyro loving anon

A) St John Allerdyce deserves to be canon Australian in the xmcu and I would make sure he has the most glaringly obvious Australian accent that is Physically Possible. Like a definite scene would be him calling Bobby a bitch for complaining about the heat and waxing poetic about the heat in Australia. Also just John talking about Australia in a nostalgic sense (or any sense, really), ie wishing he could go back for summers or wanting to go to back when he graduates. If they took place when John had just gotten to the mansion, he would def talk about Australia a lot and regard NY in a very bitter way. Also slang. All the slang. Every bit of Australian slang.

B) And confirmed in love with Bobby scenes?? The scenes that I deserved?? Dramatic Lingering Looks that Bobby never notices are an absolute Must. Also John is super jealous of Rogue and doesn’t know how to deal with so he mostly just insults her (which is essentially canon) which eventually builds into a large argument between the two where John uncomfortable tells her that he’s uh may or may not be In Love with Bobby (which results in John and Rogue both easing up on each other, something that Bobby is greatly relieved about and greatly confused about). John also pathetically attempting to hint to Bobby that he maybe wants to be more than friends by doing so in an aggressively public manner that makes it seem like he’s just joking around, ie “C’mon Drake, you know you’d kill to date a guy like me.” Rogue (and everyone else) harass him endlessly for these remarks.

Okay!! That’s all I can think of right now but thank you for considering my character analyses and HC’s topnotch, I greatly appreciate that. Also ik St John is supposed to be like Sin-Jin but I literally can not wrap my head around that so it doesn’t get included.
