Lore for various original species of mine.

Cinder:
Resilient to extreme temperatures. Have elf-like ears. Fireproof. Mostly immune to poisons. Blue blood. Dull colors, shades of grays and extremely dull brown, except eyes. Originated in the Dark Realm, but have spread throughout the realms. Often have retractable claws.
Dark-folk:
Don't follow normal laws of physics. Can turn to a smoke-like gas at will. Extremely sensitive to light, to the point that bright lights can temporarily blind them. They have ear holes like birds/reptiles OR elf-like ears. Blue blood. Immune to most poisons. Extremely dark colors other than eyes. Retractable claws. Originated in the Dark Realm, but have spread throughout the realms.
Crystalling:
Essentially made of magic. Physically fragile, but hard to kill. Immune to poisons. Don't have to eat or drink to survive, but starvation or dehydration can severely weaken them. Colorful. Powers vary depending on the individual. Origins unknown, but they are suspected to be a type of magic-forged that spread became their own species.
Gem-eaters:
Capable of seeing in complete darkness, but their eyes are sensitive to light. Eat actual gemstones, metals, rocks, and sometimes crystallings. Resistant to the cold. Immune to most poisons. Creatures of darkness. Colorful, but usually dark colors. If they don't eat their intended diet for too long, they can snap and turn feral. They look deceptively harmless. Their appearance is a lot like crystallings. Retractable claws. Cat-like paws instead of feet (like the back paws of a cat but lined up with their legs). Originate in the Midnight Realm, but have spread throughout most other realms.
Insectoids:
Centaur-like creatures, but with the lower body of an insect or arachnid instead of a horse. Have behaviors similar to the bug they are, but also similar to humans. Large. Powerful. Have the abilities of the bug they are.
Celestians:
Aliens. Powers and appearance vary depending on celestial light they hatched under.
Darkborns: not born under any natural lights. Fragile. Heightened senses.
Sunborns: Born under the light of the sun. Mostly immune to fire. Can shoot a jet of flames out of their wrists if warm enough. Can see, even in blinding lights. Vulnerable to the cold. Can glow.
Moonborns: born under the light of the moons. Mostly immune to cold. Can weakly control water. Can release a gas that can cause most beings to hallucinate from their wrists. Can see in near complete darkness. Vulnerable to extreme heat.
Solarborns: born under the light of a solar eclipse. Mostly immune to fire. Can shoot out hallucinogenic mist or a jet of fire from their wrists. Can see, even in blinding lights and near darkness. Sensitive to the cold. Can glow.
Lunarborns: born under the light of a lunar eclipse. Mostly immune to the cold. Can control water. Can release hallucinogenic gas from their wrists. Can see even in complete darkness. Can very faintly glow. Vulnerable to extreme heat.
Plus Realms lore!
Dark Realm:
The Dark Realm is split up into three regions. The hot region, the cold region, and the temperate region. The hot region mainly has deserts, savannas, and volcanic fields, valleys, and mountains. As the name suggests, it is incredibly hot. It smells of smoke and death constantly.
The cold region mainly has icy mountains, glaciers, tundras, and evergreen (or red) forests. It is incredibly cold, almost always far into the negatives. Most of the cold region smells of fresh snow and blood.
The temperate region has deciduous forests, meadows, hills, and large lakes. The temperatures vary depending on which part of the region it is, but they are not nearly as extreme as the other two regions. Most of the world is covered in deep oceans, with only two continents. Though, there are many islands and archipelagos
.The fauna in the Dark Realm is powerful and dangerous, adapted to survive in a world that seems to try to snuff life out completely.

Hysteria Realm:
The Hysteria Realm is a realm that does not appear to follow any normal logic. Almost everything is harsh, vivid shades of pink and red. The realm is filled with incredibly unstable magic.The flora of the Hysteria Realm usually grows twisted and gnarled looking. Most of the time, stems and trunks have harsh, sharp corners and twists in their shape.
The fauna is odd, not appearing to follow ordinary laws of biology. Though, despite their strange appearances, and even stranger abilities, the majority of the creatures appear harmless.The realm has been known to drive those who stay too long to insanity.
Portal: vivid magenta and red, spiraling with spots.
Blood Realm:
The Blood Realm is a realm that consists mostly of oceans. It has small patches of land. Almost everything is shades of red. Of course, the water in the realm is not actually made of blood, but with its thick consistency and deep red color, it certainly looks like it.
Very few creatures live in the Blood Realm. The few that do are giant, terrifying, powerful beasts lurking deep below the ocean's surface. They often have peculiar features, such as exoskeletons that look like actual bones, transparent skin, or bioluminescent eyes.
The few types of flora are also deep shades of red, most being unpleasant, dangerous, or outright deadly to consume.

Midnight Realm:
The Midnight Realm is a place of eternal dark. There are two moons, one visible during the ‘day’, and the other during the night. The ‘day’ moon has a brighter shine than the night one. It has an odd gold tint to it.
The flora is shades of deep purples and blues instead of green.
There are not many creatures in the Midnight Realm, but the few that do live there are swift, quiet, and deady.
Most of the Midnight Realm is made up of thick, dark forests, usually evergreen forests. It is incredibly easy to get lost amongst the trees.
Portal: dark purple and blue spiraling, with white speckles.
Inferno Realm:
The Inferno Realm is a realm of complex, giant, fiery cave systems and caverns with lava lakes and steep cliffs.
The little flora within the realm is usually shades of red, gold, and orange.
The fauna is usually very large and strong, adapted to survive the harsh conditions of the Inferno Realm.
There is almost no water in the Inferno Realm, aside from boiling hot springs and dangerous geysers.
The fauna does not need water to survive.
Portal: bright, fiery red and orange, mixing together.
Abyss Realm:
The Abyss Realm is a realm of floating islands in a seemingly endless black void. It is split into two levels. Above the Void, and below it. It is incredibly difficult to get to the lower islands, due to them being below a layer of Void with crushing pressure and toxic air.
The upper islands have flora in shades of desaturated blues and purples. It is quiet and mostly peaceful. It has mostly small, peaceful fauna. The lower islands’ flora is deeper and more vivid in color. The fauna is far bigger and more dangerous, often with sharper teeth and spikes along their spines. The fauna is adapted to survive the harsher, colder climate of the lower islands, so they are oftem very hostile and dangerous.
