The public has gathered in Diagon Alley where Head Auror Potter is giving a press conference regarding the arrest of a group of Death Eaters being charged with involvement in the attack at the Malfoy Masquerade that resulted in the death of Lysander Scamander.
But just as Potter is wrapping up, a flash of green interrupts him and chaos breaks out in the crowd. Death Eaters swarm the streets of WIzarding London and the Head Auror is nowhere to be seen.

As the Malfoy party came to a close, Death Eaters invaded Diagon Alley, knowing all attention would be on Malfoy Manor as a hotspot for any suspicious activity. Over the past year, magical creatures have been disappearing and unable to be traced. The Death Eaters have congregated at Diagon with the intent of unleashing those animals not only in the wizarding world, but muggle London as well. Starting with the dragon inside Gringotts.

This happens at the verryyy end of the Malfoy party because the Death Eaters are jerks and no one can be happy. 🤷
The Head Death Eaters (nonplayable characters) have called all Death Eaters using the Mark. No Death Eaters will have known about this attack prior to this, but all will be expected to go help.
Resistance Leaders (Dylan and Hugo) got word of the attack and left the party early to go to Diagon. They sent out an alert via text to all DA members to come to Diagon.
Harry has called for all aurors and DMLE officers to come to Diagon.
Dragonologists are called to assist with keeping the dragon inside Gringotts safe, secure and calm. Magizoologists are encouraged to come assist with the animals.
Magizoologist Lysander Scamander has been seriously injured amidst the battle in attempt to help save the animals. Status unknown, but was critical.
Any healers are asked to be on standby at St. Mungo's.

The Resistance/aurors will get there before the animals are unleashed unless we state otherwise on the main, so the dragon's still in Gringotts and won't eat anyone probably. Don't godmod the dragon. What's going on in Diagon is a giant army battle.

Breaking - Headmistress among the causalities in Hogwarts Attack
Exactly thirty-two years to the date, Hogwarts was attacked again by Death Eaters. Shortly after Head Auror Harry Potter took the stage, the Great Hall was ambushed by followers of the so-called Successor, leaving parts of the school, and Hogsmeade, in shambles.
Numerous injuries were reported, but the Prophet can confirm at least four casualties. Among those identified were Ilvermorny student, Asher Montgomery, and devastatingly, long-time Hogwarts Headmistress, Minerva McGonagall.
Initially thought to be missing, Head Auror Potter was reportedly taken to St. Mungo’s for undisclosed injuries.

Due to the events that happened at the Spring Cherry Blossom Festival, there have been amendments added to the muggle restriction laws that were put in place one year ago.
Last year, not only were all letters and packages to the muggle world were subject to a search by the Ministry, but anyone thought to be in one of these “armies” would be prosecuted. The law that will be amended is the travel law. The law states:
ALL TRAVEL TO MUGGLE LOCATIONS WILL BE MONITORED. Floo Networks and Portkeys will be traced. Specific points for apparating will be placed throughout the wizarding world for muggle transportation. As stated above, if we believe your travel is anything other than pleasure or business, you will be brought into Ministry custody.
The new amendment:
IN ORDER TO TRAVEL TO MUGGLE LOCATIONS, YOU MUST APPLY FOR A LICENSE. The threat to our wards is what keeps us safe. Our sense of safety cannot be taken away from us. Thus, only specific people will be allowed to travel to and from the wizarding world. If you wish to do so, you will need to take a test in order to be granted a license for travel. Aurors will be placed at the specific apparating points to check licensing. Anyone without a license will be brought into custody.
If we believe you are acquiring a license for precarious reasons, the Ministry has the right to deny your license. The tests for licensing will start one month from now.
