Breaking - Headmistress among the causalities in Hogwarts Attack
Exactly thirty-two years to the date, Hogwarts was attacked again by Death Eaters. Shortly after Head Auror Harry Potter took the stage, the Great Hall was ambushed by followers of the so-called Successor, leaving parts of the school, and Hogsmeade, in shambles.
Numerous injuries were reported, but the Prophet can confirm at least four casualties. Among those identified were Ilvermorny student, Asher Montgomery, and devastatingly, long-time Hogwarts Headmistress, Minerva McGonagall.
Initially thought to be missing, Head Auror Potter was reportedly taken to St. Mungo’s for undisclosed injuries.

After spending a year in Azkaban, Draco Malfoy has been released due to lack of evidence in connection to the attacks on Head Auror Harry Potter and Marcelina Bloem.
Malfoy’s lawyer, Reese Weasley, spoke on behalf of his client and stated that Malfoy said he will be demanding full pardon and his position as chief warlock back. The Minister’s office refused to comment.

It was a quiet night in the wizarding world, the only event going on was the annual Christmas in July ball the Malfoy’s throw every year to show unity. The event went off without a hitch, people were mingling and dancing. There was no notable drama. It was approaching ten o’clock when we heard the first scream.
The familiar colors of spells flew, and chaos erupted. The Death Eaters had arrived. Unlike their usual attacks where we see an army, there were only a handful of figures in the black cloak. Their masks were different as well. Although there were only a few of them, they were powerful. Decorations fell, silverware crashed against the floor as people rushed to escape.
Although things were chaotic, there a sudden hush over the room when another figure showed up. We’ve only seen this person three times before, but they aura they held caused us to have goosebumps. It was the successor, the person who built the Death Eaters up from scratch after Voldemort. The same person who claimed the kidnapping and murder of Rita Skeeter, and the same person who attacked Harry Potter all those months ago, sending him to St. Mungo’s in critical condition.
That moment only lasted a second before hell broke loose once more. Unfortunately, our reporters couldn’t stay long as the Aurors who were attending the party began to intervene. We do know that there was at least one casualty. We will post more information when we know more.
It’s been months since the last attack, and while we didn’t believe all was well, the Malfoy party had never been touched before. As we left, the Dark Mark was seen over the Manor. One message was clear, no one is safe.

everything was going swimmingly at the ball until about 10 o’clock at night when the death eaters attacked.
unlike other attacks, there wasn’t a huge army. just a few--around ten showed and dealt some serious damage.
people were hurt, decorations were torn down, and silverware was smashed on the floor.
the successor showed up to cause trouble. due to them there was one causality -- a npc.
not only did they want to cause panic and fear, but they also wanted to show that the malfoy’s are out of favor. the time for unity is over.
The aurors then intervened and the Death Eaters along with the Successor, apparated out of the party.

Prophet Journalist Lucy Weasley Exposes Malfoy Case
In a recent article, journalist Lucy Weasley exposed some “major flaws” in the case against Draco Malfoy. Malfoy has been in Azkaban since last year for crimes associated with Voldemort’s so-called “Successor,” but Weasley has pointed out some issues with the case. Weasley questioned the validity of Malfoy’s arrest, bringing to question whether or not Malfoy’s wand was ever traced for spells supposedly used against Marcelina Bloem the night of her attack. Weasley spoke with Malfoy’s daughter and also discussed that the man Bloem accused of attacking her, Phoenix Zabini, was “never taken seriously as a suspect.” According to Weasley’s anonymous source, Zabini has had a history of “paying off the right people” to avoid getting in trouble. As the one year mark to Malfoy’s arrest. we can only wonder if this is all factual or a ploy to help with his upcoming trial. We’ll update as we get more information.

It’s been almost a year since Draco Malfoy’s arrest, but Minister Hawthorne has officially selected his replacement. Early this morning, the Minister announced that Cypress Yaxley will be taking Malfoy’s place as Chief Warlock.
Yaxley, the son of Death Eater Corban Yaxley, was released from Azkaban himself just years ago, but all charges against him were dropped. In an official statement to the Daily Prophet, the Minister said she’s hoping the image of reformation that Malfoy was once seen as will be restored to the public by her appointing Yaxley. She also said to expect an update on the new muggle travel restrictions soon.

After hours of mystery, things have finally cleared up. According to eyewitness reports, the wards went back up hours after they came down. It was a tough job for our Aurors and Unspeakables to clean up the mess. We do not know the appropriate number of muggles that were present, but it was enough to do major damage.
After the wards were up, muggles still lingered in the Wizarding World. In which, Aurors and Unspeakables alike had to round them up to perform a massive obliviation session. After the muggles were checked for any possible damage and put into the clear, they were ushered back into their world. Hopefully, there is no evidence that we exist on their phones or on their social media. I’m sure the Ministry is working things over with the muggle Prime Minister as we speak to remedy the situation.
With all of this craziness laid to rest, we have to ask: what happens next? The Wizarding World has been attacked and threatened by various armies, but this likes an attack on everyone. Who is behind this attack? We can’t tell you. For all we know, it was a freak accident. We’ve attempted to get in contact with the Minister’s office and the Auror’s, but we haven’t gotten a response yet.

Readers, this is not a drill. Because of how urgent the situation is, our article will be short. Just as the Cherry Blossom Festival was coming to an end-- the band was wrapping up, people were starting to portkey and apparate home, there was a banging sound. It was silent for a moment before the wards began to dismantle.
If what our ancestors made to protect us wasn’t crumbling in front of our eyes, I would say that it was a beautiful sight. For those who didn’t know what happened, it was not long until they found out:

It was not long until the first Muggles walked into the space where the festival was found-- it is no question that the sight of cherry blossom trees and all of the festivities drew their attention.
With that being said, be calm, act normal, and do not let the Muggles know anything is wrong. Hopefully, the Ministry will come to clean this mess up. We’ll send an update when this is over.

here’s what just happened:
as the festival was ending / people were starting to leave / some people were still loitering around there was a strange banging noise.
a few minutes after, the wards started to drop. (think of the scene in deathly hallows when the wards began to fall).
the wizarding world became exposed and after some time, the first muggles came into the space after seeing the trees and everyone gathered around. it’s not long until more come.
this is a plot of the crimson allies as a part of their goal to break down the hierarchy between the wizarding world and the muggle world.

The Dark Mark was seen over the mansion of Olivier Burbage on Halloween night. We have several of our very own journalists attending the party and they said everything was going perfect; drinks were flowing, everyone was dancing, and candy was being eaten. However, it all changed when suddenly there was a shout. All heads seemed to turn to where the noise came from and party-goers only saw deadly spells being thrown at each other.
Two people were dueling in the house. Our reporters could not forget what the mask of a Death Eater looked like. One duelers as affiliated with the deadly group. The other wore red. Some guests were confused, but then it clicked. The Death Eaters and Crimson Allies were fighting. It was not long until more members of each army came to their comrades side. Then, the night got crazy. Innocent guests rushed to leave, but the fighting spilled out onto the streets. It was then that everyone saw...the Death Eaters cast the mark over Olivier’s mansion; the party was marked for potential death.
We still don’t know if the fighting is going on or if the Aurors began to capture the army members. However, our emergency sources have told us that if anyone is still at Olivier’s house, they should evacuate immediately. Aurors are scared the party in Paris is going to be the Death Eater’s next target so until further notice, Dylan Parkinson’s Halloween party is on lock down.

It happened on Monday at 3PM. Aurors stormed into the law offices in the Ministry and arrested the Chief Warlock, Draco Malfoy. For those living under a rock; the Chief Warlock oversees court procedures, presiding over the Wizengamot. Malfoy was walked out of the Ministry by several Aurors, interrupting everyone’s work day. Only a few weeks ago, Malfoy threw a huge Christmas in July ball for the entire wizarding world. Once, that ball was considered welcoming, but it seems he was covering up his own agenda. According to our sources, Malfoy was arrested on the use of an Unforgivable, attempted murder, and aiding and abetting.
We know what you’re asking and the answer is yes. According to our sources, Draco Malfoy is still an active Death Eater. Our sources say his arrest charges have to do with two attacks that happened earlier this year. First, it was the attack on Marcie Bloem on New Years Eve. Which, we should point out, was an event hosted by Malfoy’s father: the right hand man to You-Know-Who.
Our sources say that Malfoy put Phoenix Zabini under the imperius curse and used him to attack Miss Bloem. Zabini has no record of being violent, or exhibiting violent behavior. When Aurors went back to search the train car, they found an object that belonged to Malfoy. They has no way to prove it was him until months later. After intensive research into Malfoy, it was found that he was responsible for two Death Eaters being released from Azkaban: Lucius Malfoy and Cypress Yaxley. Was that on purpose? We can only assume he used his position to break out the deadliest Death Eaters and had plans to do more.
Not only was Malfoy responsible for that attack, but he was also responsible for aiding and abetting the Successor who attempt to murder Head Auror Harry Potter during the anniversary of the Second War in May. Our sources say Malfoy is the only person who knew how to get in and out of Hogwarts without apparating or a spell. And that, readers is the vanishing cabinet located in the Room of Requirement. Though Aurors couldn’t manage to get through to see where the other cabinet is. Our source says it’s blocked by a powerful warding spell.
In all, we guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. No matter how many flashy parties they throw, some families will never change. I reached out to the family and got no response. But we’ll be sure to give you more information as the day goes on. So, until next time, readers.
