Uiltje Brewing Dr. Raptor Imperial IPA (Picked up at Albert Heijn in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. A bit on the maltier side -- you can pick up quite a bit of caramel malt in the nose alongside some pine and resin, plus a little bit of orange citrus. The body is much the same and is on the sweet side up front, although the booze and a moderate bitterness help balance a bit.
Uiltje Joost Mag Het Weten Triple IPA on tap at Proeflokaal Arendsnest in Amsterdam. A 3 of 4. Yep, this is a big, bright, and boozy IPA. Some pine/resin alongside some brighter orange notes up front, and the body is a bit maltier than expected. That helps balance the booze, a bit, and this drinks surprisingly easily for 11%.
