...About me. #Repost @kunenentando ・・・ My mother was a nurse, and my father was a high school principal. When my mother worked the night shift, my dad would be the one responsible for taking care of us. In my family when you turned 10 years, you were considered grown enough to be trusted with matches or fire, so it was time for you to learn to cook. Since my mother worked mostly at night, my father taught me how to cook (which I must say was quite progressive for a Zulu man in the 70s). This is the first thing I was taught to make, 'Ujeqe', a steamed bread that you use to mop your curry or stew with (delectable!!!!).
