Heartbreaking news for uk drag fans the vivienne has sadly passed away
Such a sad loss, to the world but especially to UK drag. Our first Queen to be crowned, taken too soon 💔
I'm rather excited. We're finally getting to see the second winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Scottish queen, Lawrence Chaney, on her "Memoirs From My Sh*gpipes" tour. Hands down one of my favourites from this godforsaken collection of islands. I resonate so hard with this individual.
For my own drag outfit, I'm tempted to actually shave my non-existent blonde eyebrows off and put 2 fake Sonic and Knuckles tattoos in their place, and theme the drag around that, hhahaah.

30. MANLY MANNINGTON Manly makes things. I hope my drawing here does at least a little justice to just how extraordinary Manly's builds are, but they really are just something you have to see for yourself. Producer of House of Mannington and all around legend 🌹🌹🌹

ID. A drawing of Manly Mannington on a yellow background with a lighter yellow diamond pattern. Manly is pictured here in his blue rose look, a menacing burnt orange face with red eyes and smiling sharp teeth peering out from inside an enormous, shiny blue/green rose headpiece.
I am so incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of this absolute icon. Ready in peace, Queen🤍
The difference between America and the UK.
Parts of America trying to ban drag shows because of the alleged negative impact they have and people can be confused.
Meanwhile today we are mourning the loss of one of UKs most widely known and loved queens, Lily Savage.
For most of us she was the first drag queen we saw, beyond a pantomime dame. But there she was in prime time tv being so relatable. Every northern knew a glam woman with dark roots, fag hanging out their gob and the ultimate “you can’t be that stupid” face.
The tributes have poured in, from how much he did for the LGBTQ+ community and visibility, what a fantastic talk show host he was in later years as himself and most of all his dedication and hard work promoting Battersea Dog and Cats Home. This is a man that took rescue dogs to a garden party at Buckingham Palace to try and find them homes. In fact it has been said today he had recorded all the bits for a new promotion for the charity and would have been devastated to think they won’t be used.
There is not a single negative people are saying, no one is confused, he was a good man who came to fame as a drag act and recently dug out the heavily dark rooted wig to play Miss Hannigan in Annie and people were so excited to see him in the role.
He will be sorely missed, greatly loved and people will be forever bitter he wasn’t awarded a knighthood.
Rest in Peace Paul O’Grady. We will never forget you or Lily.
