This vast Cryptomeria japonica impressed me a great deal yesterday. Brilliant blue skies today. Often the undoing of overly keen gardeners. While glorious, don’t forget that we often have snow in March and it traditionally isn’t safe to plant summer bedding plants outside until the 3rd week on May. Be wary about buying and planting out tender or overly soft leafy plants until April at the earliest.
