🦇Melekseev Vamp AU  🦇

🖤 Just a snippet, I felt inspired by all the glorious goth art for Mélovin and Alekseev, also I can’t get the image of Mélovin making perfume out of my head... 🖤 

Most people who Mélovin and Alekseev met thought that vampires were the stereotype they’d seen in movies. They didn’t know what to think when faced with these two slightly morose pale boys with dark eyes who were practically joined at the hip. Of course this often times gave them the advantage while on a hunt.

They shared a bedsit together with a fridge full of stolen type O-neg, coffee grounds, and stale milk. Most nights they frequented the local metal bar, drinking whiskey and sitting too close to the speakers. Why would they need to speak when a look, or at a push, an intruding thought shared between them would be enough to communicate.

During the day they wore factor 60, dark glasses, and sprayed themselves with heavy, unusual perfumes to hide the smell of death and iron. Mélovin enjoyed making them, locking himself in their bathroom until he had mastered whatever scent had been winding its way though his mind that week; usually a heavy fougère or sickly sweet gourmand. He liked to recreate dirt and sweat, leather and sex. Scent was one of their most developed senses, taste was all but lost to them both now.

Outwardly, they were two goth inspired fashion students who could seemingly afford to wear vintage Alexander McQueen and ruby rings. But the McQueen clothing was a happy profit from their second to last kill, and the rings, gifts from their shared sire.
