“Why can’t you just let me go? Just let me leave please, I can’t do this anymore!” You hiss watching Yukwon force his way into your new apartment as he had with everyone prior. Waving for the two men with him to stand guard outside, while he closes the two so you both can talk in peace.
“You know I can’t let you go that easily Y/N. You ruled the world I built at my side. You’re everything I want, I can’t just let you go like that.” He insists as he has always done when he’s shown up in your life again.
“Look at me Yukwon! Fucking look at me! You see these scars? You see the way I break down and fall apart? That’s because of the life I had when I was with you. I want to get away from that and never go back. It’s breaking me apart, Yukwon...it terrifies me. It’s literally nothing to do with my love for you. I just won’t survive that life and we both know it.” You break down to him, having to sit down as just the thoughts alone begin to overwhelm you. Not pushing Yukwon away as he comes to join you. Kneeling before you as he takes your hands in his, resting them in your lap.
“Everything I’ve done has been to protect you. I fucked up and let that happen when it never should have. I will never let anyone touch you again though...I promise you that. I’ll get us some more money and hand the empire over and we can run away where no one will be able to ever get to us. You won’t have to be afraid of anything. Just come back to me.” Yukwon speaks and you find yourself nodding without even realizing it. Feeling somewhat numb as he helps lead you out of the apartment without anything in your possession and to his car. Returning with him to his world once again.
