She dropped her book on the table before collapsing into her seat, placing her head on the cover of the hard tome. She had been up for most of the night, attempting to read about the Coeurlregina. Being one of the Coeurl tribe, she would see it as an honor to even look upon the beast, but she would need to keep hunters from taking it down in the Forelands. She heard footsteps coming her way and lifted her head from where it rested. She smiled when she saw him. “It’s nice to see you.”
I commissioned @theicebeastofthenorth for the Snowtiger babes. Rink did a lovely job on the two of them. I didn’t want to post this until @eorzeanstray / @uldahnsmithcat got to see this.

She was shooed away by Vhaso’a and Dia in the late hours of the evening. She briefly peeked through the door of the particular tavern when she finally made it into the city, but he was nowhere to be seen. Circe pressed her lips together as she touched her linkpearl. She could have called to find out if he was working.
That would have solved it, but with Vhasoá all but shoving her out his door, it hadn’t crossed her mind then. Shrugging her shoulders, she activated the little ear piece and waited for someone to pick up. The platinum-blonde scholar cat spun around and began walk away from the tavern, humming to herself. The linkpearl was still ringing when she glided across the cobblestone. She rounded a corner and collided into someone’s chest. “S-Sorry. I should be careful---” She looked up to meet a familiar face. “T-Tiger.”

He crossed his arms, quietly looking at the other man. Oh how often people like that found their way here… But probably this was the least subtle line he had heard in a while.
“Such a simple drink for someone who seems to have some taste?” Grinning he leaned halfway over the counter, giving a playfully loud purr. “I have to give you, this for sure was the worst pick up line I have heard in a while.” he shook his head. “okay. not the worst, by far. But the most direct.”
He couldn’t help but give the ladies around a little wink. Some of them had tried earlier afterall. Yet after that he returned his attention to the man in front of him.
“Giving me a name at least?”
Oh yes, finally a man in this city that was actually willing to play a little bit of ball. The purr was enough to get get him hooked, gently setting down the drink and meeting the lighter haired cat’s gaze, crimson eyes staring up at him from his seat. Gods, this man was attractive, and there was no denying that. The marks on his face were one thing, drawing so much attention to those eyes that he could hardly look anywhere else. But he wouldn’t allow him to fluster him. Dia didn’t wait another second before moving, pressing a kiss to the other’s cheek before sitting again and taking another swig.
❝ glad that you seem to know people well. and it’s not bad pick up line, it’s more that i know what i want and i’m not one to beat around the bush if i’m just going to be turned down. Dia is my name though, if you’re going to take me up on my offer, handsome... ❞
Gods he just wanted to grab him and have him on this countertop, not caring if others gawked at his lack of decorum. He was an animal, more than willing to take what it was he wanted with little care as to what others thought. At the moment his mark was the fair haired miqo’te who had actually managed to brighten what was looking like a scoreless day.
((@uldahnsmithcat)) "So, now that the rest of the drinks are out~" The Miqo'te purred at the newcomer that had taken place right in front of him on the other side of the bar. "What can i get for you, good sir? We serve anything from ale and wine to a selection of mixed drinks."
❝ i would like an ale. though if i’m going to be completely honest, i’d like to have you on my arm for a night. not quite sure if you’d reciprocate my affections though. most bartenders seem to be inflexible. ❞
It was a challenge, he wanted the other man to just come at him, try his attempts to woo him and make him beg for more time with the rather attractive man. That was the attempt anyways, giving the man the sweetest smile he could manage as his ears flattened, sticking out to the sides. Certainly the small little jab could help his chances, just as much as they’d likely end up harming them.
He did manage to get a snicker or two from women around him. Made him happy to see that he was not the only one who thought the whole thing a little funny. Tail swished behind him as the other bar tender delivered his drink, taking a swig from the tankard as he refused to break eye contact with the other.
Had to live a little some times...

“Mm, promise I will.” After all, it meant more time with him. If she wanted to get to know him, she would need that. She fiddled with the bandages, trying to not tug too much on them. Circe didn’t need to pull them off now, but she was nervous about this first call.
“I just...wanted to see how you were doing.” She paused, biting her lip. “And there’s nothing to do while I’m on lockdown to recover.”
